Who We Are

In 1980 Jack Sacchette was introduced to a milling machine as a Sophomore at Fullerton High School machine shop. That is where Jack decided how to channel his creativity in machining. By his senior year in 1983 jack was making parts for people and Jaycee Enterprises was born. Jack realized quickly that there was a strong need for Quality Performance Parts but there was nothing available at the time that met his specifications. He made it his goal, to initiate the manufacture of Superior Quality, High Performance items. Jack's purpose for JayCee Enterprises is to build products that work, support you can count on, and designs that will always be cutting edge for the VW Industry.

History

1980-1981 - Jack Sacchette took his street bug and converted
it to a full time race car & traveled the country bracket racing the car and winning purses to help pay for the car.

1982-1983 - Jack toured the NHRA curcuit with Chris
Klingaman & Eric Ballard.

1984 - Jack built a Fiat 600 that was VW powered, did the
bracket racing circuit and won purses that helped pay for that car.

1984-1985 - Small Car Specialties stepped up & sponsored the
Jack Sacchette racing effort. For the seasons of the Small Car Specialties sponsorship payment was based on performance, and these performances that paved the way for R&D & the opening of JayCee Enterprises.

1986-1987 - Jack built a VW powered Fiat X19 and continued

bracket racing.

1988 - Marked the building of the Lummus built Pro Stock VW
that would dominate Pro Stock for years.

1989 - Finished No. 1 Pro Stock

1990 - Finished No. 1 Pro Stock

1991 - Finished No. 1 Pro Stock. Was undefeated the entire
Season, never lost a round and qualified No. 1 at all events!

1991 - After the season ended, the Pro Stock Car was sold and the building of a Super Street car began.

1992 - Curtis & Greenwood Super Street car debut in mid season and finished No. 2 while setting the Super Street ET record with a 10.40 @127 MPH.

1993 - The Super Street Terminator makes it debut half way
into the season finishing No. 2

1993 - The car was sold and a new Pro Stock car was ordered
from JCL.

1994 - JCL delivers the brand new Curtis Pro Stock / Vintage
Speed sponsored Pro Stock car half way into the season for a 5th place finish and then sold.

1995 - New pro Stock car ordered from JCL race cars.

1997 - Pro Stock finishes No. 1 in the Auto Craft owned &
sponsored car

1998 - Pro Stock finishes No. 1 & the Auto Craft bug is sold

1999 - Crew Chief for the Shin Mukai racing Supper Street
car.

2000 - Crew Chief for Shin Mukai Super Street car
and concentrate on racing R&D, the JayCee Enterprises business , the wife and 5 kids.

2000-2004 - Concentrated on the business end of JayCee Enterprises.

2002 - Started promoting the "Pro Stock Nationals"

2004 - Purchased Super Street/All Motor car presently owned today. Entered 1st NHRA Sport Compact event, Jack qualified #2 out of 32 cars attempting to make the 16 car field. Jack drove his way to way to final round where he red lighted away (.389) a 10.08 @133mph. At the time this was the quickest and fastest VW powered All Motor car in NHRA by more than 3 tenths.

2005-2006 - Jack ran a limited schedule between the different VW & Sport Compact series.

2006 - Ordered "All Motor" Honda from Ron Lummus Racing.

2006 - Introduces his son Zach to the driving side of JayCee Enterprises.

2007-2008 - Zach competes in the PRA "Index" classes to sharpen his driving skills under the tutelage of "Daddy"

2009 - Zach Sacchette to drive the JayCee Enterprises Super Street entry.

2011- PRA announces Jack's induction to PRA "Hall of Fame"
